This story features lessons from five community coalitions funded by four DELTA FOCUS domestic violence coalitions. Their approaches focus on building youth’s leadership skills, engaging them in shifting norms related to violence, and strengthening community-level protective factors for Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).

This toolkit offers concrete strategies and action steps for being an ally to Indigenous nations. The toolkit provides best practices for folks who feel inclined to join Indigenous causes, outlines proper terms, grammar and common misconceptions, and offers strategies for taking action.

This Prevention Storybook represents the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence's attempt to wrap their arms around prevention learnings from the past ten years. The storybook outlines ICADV's rationale and framework for prevention and details successful prevention strategies throughout Indiana.

The Latinx Thriving Families Campaign is designed to increase access and improve systems and responses to Latinx abused parents and their children by the integration of a comprehensive anti-oppression and social equity framework.

Through this webinar participants will learn ways to enhance their community engagement efforts, learn about the importance of including storytelling in their efforts by leveraging the #1Thing messaging. 

NRCDV is proud to offer " My One Thing," a new 4 part mini series for #DVAM2018. Each week in October will feature the unique perspectives of advocates, survivors, and other community members who have been impacted by or are working to end gender-based violence.

Being surrounded by strong community, including neighbors one interacts with and cares about, can provide a buffer against experiences and consequences of intimate partner violence. NRCDV's October 2018 TA Question of the Month explores how neighbors and advocates can work together help bolster these strong spaces of social support for survivors.

Every year the National Call of Unity kicks off Domestic Violence Awareness Month by offering an opportunity to mourn, celebrate, and connect with advocates from national, state, and community-based organizations, governmental agencies, allied movements, survivors and their family and friends.
